Alabama Dance Theatre's Free Performances

"Late Day of Late Summer"

The Alabama Dance Theatre will kick off its 1999-2000 Season with two free performances of "Late Day of Late Summer" on Sunday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Armory Learning Arts Center. The informal performances are the culmination of ADT's two-week Summer Dance Seminar and will feature excerpts of Sleeping Beauty and other classical and contemporary works by nationally recognized choreographers and teachers. The Armory Learning Arts Center is located at 1018 Madison Avenue in Montgomery. For information, call (334) 241-2590.

 

Want to take a stroll back in time?

Visit the Shakespeare Gardens a new addition to the Wynton M. Blount Cultural Park in Montgomery. The secluded 56,700 square foot garden complex includes various plants and Elizabethan herbs mentioned in William Shakespeare's poems and plays. The Shakespeare Gardens will host music concerts, lectures, and theatrical productions as well as private events.
